China Southern Airlines Appoints New Regional Manager Australia / NZ

China Southern Airlines has appointed Mr Henry He as Regional Manager Australia and New Zealand.

Effective immediately, Mr He will be based in the airline’s regional office in Sydney, and will be responsible for the company’s next phase of development in the Australasian region.

Mr He has held a wide range of finance, planning and management roles in the airline industry since 1988.

Prior to his latest appointment, Mr He was General Manager of the China Southern Airlines Taiwan branch, based in Taipei.

From November 2004 until September 2008, Mr He was Deputy General Manager, China Southern Airlines, Heilongjiang Branch, after seven years as Deputy General Manager, Northern Airlines / Swan Airlines Co Ltd.

China Southern Airlines, a key member of the SkyTeam global airline alliance, currently flies 24 times weekly from Australia to Guangzhou, China - twice daily from Sydney, daily from Melbourne and three times weekly from Brisbane.

All flights from Australia are operated with Airbus A330 aircraft, connecting in Guangzhou with onward flights throughout China and beyond to destinations across Asia and in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and other markets.
