Forbes to Rate Hotels and Spas in Singapore

The Forbes Travel Guide is to launch an hotel and spa ratings for Singapore in April 2011. Forbes say the ratings are based on "objective evaluations of more than 500 attributes at each rated property".

Singapore is the fourth country to receive Forbes Travel Guide’s Five-Star ratings, and the fourth city in Asia after Beijing, Hong Kong and Macau.

Forbes Travel Guide enters Singapore at a time when the city-state's tourism industry is delivering remarkable results. In 2010, Singapore surpassed its tourism receipts forecast with a record of Sin$18.8 billion.
