QantasLink to Launch Geraldton Flights; Recruting Cabin Crew

QantasLink is, subject to regulatory approval, to launch flights between Geraldton and Perth from 21 November 2011.

To celebrate the new route, an introductory one way, all inclusive fare of A$99 has been released for sale until 18 August 2011, for travel between 21 November and 14 December 2011 and 11 January to 29 March 2012. Terms and conditions apply.

Flights between Geraldton and Perth will be serviced by a state-of-the-art Q400 aircraft and will operate twice a day Monday to Friday and one service per day on Saturday and Sunday.

QantasLink will also introduce its Q400 aircraft on services between Exmouth and Perth twice a week on Monday and Wednesday, complementing the existing Boeing 717 aircraft on the route which will operate on Friday and Sunday.

New Pilot and Cabin Crew Base in Perth

The airline is establishing a new pilot and cabin crew base in Perth, and is currently recruiting a team of cabin crew who will undertake a comprehensive training program covering all aspects of customer service and aircraft safety prior to the commencement of QantasLinks Western Australian Q400 services.
