Best Western has opened its latest hotel in Malaysia, the Best Western Marina Island Resort Pangkor.

Situated on Marina Island Pangkor - one of Malaysias premier man-made islands in the northern state of Perak, Best Western Marina Island Resort Pangkor is ideal for both leisure and business travelers.

Built at a cost of RM 45 million, the latest addition to the chains Malaysian portfolio is a cornerstone of the dynamic development that is Marina Island Pangkor.

The resorts 170-room hotel apartment is part of a cohesive development that includes residential, commercial, leisure and entertainment.

Best Western Marina Island Resort Pangkor is a welcoming sanctuary for both holidaymakers and business travelers. Its destined to become the address of choice in the area for those seeking relaxation and a place to spoil the senses said the resorts General Manager, Mr. Thong Keng Tong.

Each of the 170 hotel apartments feature a kitchenette and living or dining area. The rooms include TV, IDD (International Direct Dial) and DID (Direct Inward Dialing) telephone, mini bar and refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and a long bath with shower in the bathroom.

Resort facilities include an on-site restaurant serving local and international cuisine, bar, conference hall and meeting rooms, offering various outdoor leisure activities such as water sport, diving and fishing, island tours, waterfront shopping complex, international cruise liner jetty and the Marina Yacht Club and Marina Sports Club.

The Marina Island Resort Pangkor development is located off the coastline of Teluk Muruh in Perak, overseeing Pangkor Island and Pangkor Laut. A bridge connects the island to the Perak mainland and a five minute boat ride can be taken to Pangkor Island.
