Regal Signs First Royale Hotel

Regal Hotels has signed a new hotel in China. The Regal Royale Hotel in Kunshan, the first Regal Royale brand for the group, is scheduled to open in 2013.

The new Regal Royale Hotel is situated in Kunshan, which is a city between Shanghai and Suzhou in the Jiangsu Province, a mere 30-minute ride from the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Wuxi Sunan International Airport.

The hotel is conveniently located at the heart of a transportation network, with easy access to various major city expressways and the Beijing–Shanghai Railway – Kunshan Station.

Regal Royale Hotel, Kunshan will feature around 300 guestrooms and suites. There will be a variety of dining options including an all-day dining restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a lobby lounge and a patisserie. Meeting and banqueting facilities will include a pillar-free grand ballroom and several multi-function rooms. An indoor swimming pool, health center, indoor golf room, spa center and other recreational facilities offering numerous entertainment and recreational options for hotel guests.

Currently, Regal manages and operates 6 hotels in Hong Kong and another 5 hotels in Mainland China. Together with the hotels under development in cities in China including Chengdu, Foshan, Shanghai, Suzhou and Zhengzhou, Regal Hotels has over 7,500 rooms and more than 80 restaurants and bars under its portfolio.
