Air India Express to Increase Flights to Abu Dhabi

Air India Express is to launch an additional flight every Monday originating from Chennai via Tiruchirapalli to Abu Dhabi thereby bring the total flights on this route to 3 per week.

Effective on 27 October 2011, Air India Express will operate 32 weekly flights from Abu Dhabi International Airport servicing 7 destinations in India.

Earlier in 2011, Air India Express also increased its flight frequencies on two of its routes from Abu Dhabi; Managalore and Amritsar to service the high demand.

Mr. Harjeet Sawhney, Manager of Air India Express in Abu Dhabi & Al Ain said, “Air India Express is pleased to announce this increase in frequency on the Chennai – Abu Dhabi route, which reflects our commitment to provide convenient services to our passengers. The level of services offered to us by ADAC helps us to continuously enhance our portfolio of services in the increasingly rising demand in the Abu Dhabi market.”

Air India Express will be operating a Boeing 737-800 aircraft departing from Abu Dhabi to Chennai via Tiruchirapalli every Monday at 19:10 local time to arrive into Tiruchirapalli at 00:45, and thereafter Chennai at 02:45 am local time.

The aircraft will offer all economy class services.
