Royal Phuket Marina has opened a fully enclosed dry boat storage facility that complements the marina's existing state-of-the-art dry stack facilities.

The ‘boat garage’ will have space for approximately 30-35 vessels of up to 33 feet in length. Storage is weather- proof and the service includes hauling boats in and out of the water. Cleaning and maintenance can also be provided.

“There is really nothing like it in Asia for boats of up to 33 feet,” said Marina Manager, Guillaume Chaillot. “The latest high-tech facilities will allow boats to always be available and ready to sail at just 30 minutes' notice.”

The facility has already taken advance bookings for a number of top of luxury boats, such as Rivas and Wally.

The indoor dry stack, which has space for 35 yachts, is not only unique in Asia for its services and facilities for large yachts, “It is also designed for ‘true boat lovers’ who want to keep their vessels in brand new conditions,” said Chaillot.

Located on the island’s eastern seaboard, just minutes from Phuket Town and overlooking scenic Phang Nga Bay, the dry dock is for the convenience of both residents and other boat owners in Phuket, as well as visiting yachts.

Royal Phuket Marina's world-class facilities have earned it the prestigious '5 Golden Anchor Award' from the British Yacht Harbour Association. The only marina in Thailand with this top international recognition, it harbours many of the island’s most prestigious yachts.

Royal Phuket Marina is only minutes by boat from a myriad of deserted topical islands famed for Hollywood movie locations, including the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun and Leonardo DiCaprio’s The Beach. Seven luxury yachts of varying sizes and capacity with full crew are also available year round for charter through the resident Royal Phuket Marina Cruising Club.
