Christoph Voegeli Joins Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort in Langkawi as GM

Christoph Voegeli has been appointed as General Manager of the Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi – Meritus’ flagship resort in Malaysia.

Christoph joins Meritus Hotels & Resorts following his assignment with the InterContinental Hotels Group as General Manager of Holiday Inn Melaka.

Christoph has extensive experience in operations and management of five-star hotels and resorts around Asia, having worked at hotels such as Swiss-Belhotel International’s Hanoi Horison Hotel, Aerowisata’s Hotel Sanur Beach in Bali, Rembrandt Hotel and Towers in Bangkok, and Carlton Hotel Singapore.

Christoph began his hospitality career with InterContinental hotels in Luxembourg and Switzerland, respectively. A German national, he received his Diploma in Hotel Management from Hotelis Hotelfachschule Sudliche Weinstrasse in Germany, and completed his MBA studies from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia.
