Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Thursday, 8 April 2010

Best Western is giving its Rewards loyalty program members a head start on paying for their summer vacations. Now through 30 May 2010, registered members who stay two times will earn a $50 Best Western Travel Card, which can be used like cash at any of the chain’s 4,000 global hotels.

Best Western is offering a 250-point bonus for those who book their stays at bestwestern.com and a 1,000-point bonus for those who pay for each of their qualified stays with the Best Western Rewards MasterCard issued by Barclaycard.

Elite members of Best Western Rewards who register and complete two qualified stays during the promotional period are automatically entered into a sweepstakes to win 100,000 Best Western Rewards bonus points – enough for up to 12 free room nights.

“Summer vacations are just around the corner, so we are giving our loyal customers the opportunity to leverage their spring travel to pay for a fun summer getaway,” said Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Best Western International. “With the value offered at Best Western’s hotels, a $50 Travel Card goes a long way toward making a summer vacation affordable.”

All bonus awards – including the $50 Travel Card, online booking bonus and MasterCard bonus – are capped at one bonus per Best Western Rewards member.

To be eligible, guests must register at bestwestern.com/jump, reside in North America, South America, Asia, South Africa, Israel, Egypt or the Ukraine and be members of Best Western Rewards. Qualified stays can be made at any Best Western hotel worldwide. Individuals who are not already members may join the program and register prior to or during their first stay. Membership is free.
