Marriott and Visa Launch Free Night Promotion

Marriott International, in partnership with Visa, has launched two new promotions that allow travelers to indulge and enjoy an extended relaxing weekend getaway at a fraction of the normal cost.

Marriott’s 3rd Night Free Promotion is available for stays outside of North America from 11 February to 2 May 2010 at participating Marriott hotels. Travelers who book a minimum of three consecutive weekend nights between Thursday and Sunday and who pay with a Visa card will get the third night free. Marriott brands participating in the program include JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts in the luxury tier; Marriott Hotels & Resorts and Renaissance Hotels in the upscale deluxe tier and Courtyard by Marriott in the upper moderate category. Guests must book before 18 April 2010.

Travelers looking for some extra spending money and planning a trip to destinations within North America need only pay with their Visa cards at participating Marriott properties to benefit from the Visa Gift Card promotion. Guests staying at Marriott properties from 11 February to 18 April 2010 for weekend getaways that include Friday or Saturday night will receive up to $50 in Visa gift cards to use at their leisure. Details are as follows:

• Participating JW Marriott Hotels and Resorts, Marriott Hotels and Resorts and Renaissance Hotels will offer guests a $25 Visa gift card per room per night (maximum two nights/$50)

• Participating Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn, SpringHill Suites, Residence Inn and TownePlace Suites will offer guests a $15 Visa gift card per room per night (maximum two nights/$30)

Guest must make reservations by 4 April 2010 to get this promotion.
