Ty Collins Joins JW Marriott Khao Lak as General Manager

Ty Collins has been appointed General Manager of the JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa.

Having been part of the Marriott family for 15 years, he first started with the Marriott Group at the Renaissance Austin Texas in March 1995 and the Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort thereafter.

 He became Director of Rooms for JW Phuket Resort & Spa and MH Phuket Beach Club in May 2002 whilst providing support as General Manager for the MEA Bangkok Mayfair.

From this experience, he ventured to Seoul, South Korea and managed the MEA Yeouido Park Centre and Soo Fitness and Spa also as General Manager.

Prior to returning to Thailand, he was General Manager of the Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Center and Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad in India.
