The Park Room and Library at The Grosvenor House in London, have been recognised by the UK Tea Council for the third year running, for their outstanding quality and consistently high standards in tea service.

The UK Tea Council is an independent body that promotes tea and its unique story for the benefit of those who produce, sell and enjoy tea. The acclaimed awards have been up and running for the past 25 years.

“Our Food and Beverage team are amongst the best in the capital, these awards are the ‘Michelin Star’ of the tea world, with world famous hotels and tea rooms competing for the coveted honour. The standards we set our team are high and it is fantastic to receive such recognition for their daily efforts,” said Sandro Iuliano, Food & Beverage Outlets Manager at Grosvenor House.

Overlooking Hyde Park, the Park Room offers welcome respite from the bustling West End. Its afternoon tea menu is designed to appeal to a wide audience and features the traditional Anna’s Tea including a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, a selection of buttermilk scones, Devonshire clotted cream and Cornish Strawberry Jam, seasonal cakes and pastries plus a choice of Jackson’s of Piccadilly tea. Alternatively guests can select from our a la carte menu and choose exactly what they want.

This summer, Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel, is also offering a Rose inspired Afternoon Tea. The Grosvenor House Rose Tea includes Taittinger Rosé champagne, a rare Golden Roseheart tea, delicate finger sandwiches, scones with Devonshire Clotted Cream and Rose Petal and Strawberry Jam, and a selection of cakes including the lightest rose macaroons and whisper thin raspberry mille feuilles.
