Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Monday, 6 December 2010

China Airlines is to launch flights between Taoyuan and Auckland, New Zealand, as an extension of its Taoyuan - Brisbane route starting 1 January 2011.

The service will be operated three flights per week using Airbus 330-300 aircraft equipped with 30 seats in Business Class and 277 seats in Economy Class.

The new flights will provide travelers with more convenient access to New Zealand following its recent decision granting visa-waiver treatment to Taiwan nationals.

To celebrate this new service, CAL is offering a special four-day, two-night Dynasty Package Tours, including an Auckland tour and a special tour of the Rotorua region, which is famous for its thermal hot springs resorts.
