Vietnam and Japan Airlines to Expand Codeshare

Japan Airlines and Vietnam Airlines are to expand the scope of their bilateral agreement from 1 October 2010, to again offer VN-operated codeshare flights between Nagoya (Chubu) and Ho Chi Minh, as well as between Tokyo (Narita) and Hanoi.

Vietnam is one of few countries that have successfully maintained a high economic growth. Complemented with a rich and captivating culture, its cities remain key destinations in South East Asia that attract many foreign business and leisure travelers.

From 1 October 2010, JAL and VN will be able to collectively offer codeshare flights on 8 routes that effectively connect vital gateways in Japan - Tokyo (Narita), Osaka (Kansai), Nagoya (Chubu) and Fukuoka, with both Vietnamese cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh.
