Golden Tulip Upgrades Nearly 200 Properties to Pegasus’ RezView NG CRS

Golden Tulip has upgraded nearly 200 properties to Pegasus Solutions’ RezView NG central reservations system (CRS). In operation at each property as Goldres, RezView NG is now live at hotels in 40 countries across the Tulip Inn, Golden Tulip and Royal Tulip brands.

As one of the first hotel groups to offer next generation seamless connectivity, total pricing and best available rate indicators through its CRS to the global distribution systems (GDS), Golden Tulip, a long-time Pegasus customer, has again taken strides to make its hotels more competitive at the point of sale.

“Goldres, our customized version of Pegasus’ RezView NG, comes from a technology heritage that boasts some of the highest uptimes and SLAs in the industry,” said Riko van Santen, vice president of distribution for Golden Tulip and Louvre Hotels. “With it, we assure our properties the reliability, response speed, scalability and integration flexibility they need to maintain a competitive edge and maximize exposure.”

Another distinguishing feature of Golden Tulip’s RezView NG implementation was a staggered rollout over several dates. The platform was designed to allow rollout by various geographic and demographic areas to divert traffic between the old and new CRS, minimizing business impact and ensuring success of each stage before proceeding to the next.

“It’s rewarding to see Golden Tulip harness the strength of RezView NG as a truly next generation enterprise reservations solution,” said Mike Kistner, CEO of Pegasus Solutions. “The group has always exhibited a pioneering spirit as early adopters of e-commerce, mobile, user-generated content and social media. It is this same dedication to offering hotels sustainable growth through sophisticated solutions that brought them to RezView NG.”

RezView NG is one of the most sophisticated CRS available in the hospitality industry. Its flexible design allows hotels to operate and adapt their business in the manner in which they choose, not based upon the constraints of the system. This flexibility includes support for a wide variety of revenue management strategies, the ability to sell and manage non-room inventory, high-level customization, real-time reporting, close integration with property management systems and automated distribution content management.
