Michelle Ford appointed General Manager of Fusion Maia Danang, Vietnam

Michelle Ford has been appointed as General Manager of the Fusion Maia Danang Resort Vietnam. Michelle was previously working on  a pre-opening project for Life Resorts in Danang. The 87 Fusion Maia Danang is under development by 559 Investment Joint Stock Company and will be managed by Fusion Hotel Management Ltd.

After studying hotel management in South Africa, Michelle embarked upon a management career in Africa, the Middle East, United Kingdom and Asia. She is specialized in the spa and wellness field and has completed an Executive Development Program in Spa Management at Cornell University and Raffles Spa Academy.

 To date, Michelles personable, forthright and hands-on-management style has facilitated her successful management of prestigious resorts and spas throughout South East Asia. Prior to take on the pre-opening project management for Life Resorts in Danang, Michelle was the regional director of operations for M Spa International overseeing 12 spas in Thailand and three spa in Maldives and before that she was the general manager of Life Resort Quy Nhon, Vietnam for four years.

All 87 villas at the resort have private pools, spacious living areas, large bathrooms and rain showers plus all the luxury amenities so guests can relax and enjoy without having to leave their villa. In addition, there is even more attraction by giving guests the freedom to have breakfast at any place or at any time during the day in the Fusion Maia Da Nang.

 The resort is located right on the pristine beach of Danang and only 30 minutes away from the airport.

Other facilities include a lounge bar, a restaurant, poolside restaurant, beachfront infinity swimming pool, 12 luxurious spa treatment suites, spa library, beauty/salon, sauna/steam bath pavilion and a gym with area for yoga, tai chi and meditation.

Fusion Maia Da Nang will open its doors to guests mid-2010.
