An enchanting year of new attractions, events and seasonal festivities awaits MICE participants who meet at Hong Kong Disneyland during the resort’s year-long 5th Anniversary celebrations that begin 21 January 2011.

Five New Product Offers Celebrating Five Magical Years

Savings and Meeting Enhancements for Early Bookings: Planners who book meetings of 50 or more participants more than five months in advance will each receive one complimentary hotel room for the duration of their meeting and a complimentary dinner for two. They will also receive 5% savings on the per-person meeting package price, along with a special 5th Anniversary-themed enhancement to the afternoon break. Programmes must be booked more than five months in advance of their actualisation dates.

50% Savings for When Planners Book Five or More Events: When an event organiser books five meetings or group catering events with group of 50 during the 5th Anniversary Celebrations, he or she can select one of two “wow” offers to incorporate into the fifth event. Options include providing complimentary theme park ticket to the group (up to 100 tickets) or a 50% savings on the complete cost of the fifth event (limited to group of 100).

A “Thank You” to Returning Groups: Clients who have repeat programmes of 50 persons or more will receive a 10% savings on Food & Beverage and earn five complimentary theme park tickets. Programmes must be booked and actualised during the promotional period.

Surprise Magical Moments: MICE planners can provide magical moments for their participants with an in-room surprise during one of the meeting luncheons. A special drawing will reward a few lucky participants with prizes that might be theme park tickets, merchandise goodie bags, dinner vouchers or other special gifts.

Complimentary Elements for 5-Year Milestone Events: Organisations and individuals celebrating a five-year milestone have more reasons to bring their events to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. The event could be a corporate anniversary of 5, 10, 15 years or more, or it could be a wedding anniversary or birthday. Whatever the occasion, the Business Solutions and Events team will make it more special with complimentary themed décor elements that are custom designed and perfectly suited for the event.

Seasonal Holidays and Social Events

In January 2011 the resort will launch its grand 5th anniversary celebration. The year-long event will introduce a line-up of new entertainment and attractions.

The theme park will also premiere three new lands in the coming years as part of an expansion that will bring the total number of attractions and entertainment experiences to more than 100.

The first phase will open at the end of 2011 with Toy Story Land. Guests will seem to shrink to the size of a toy themselves when they’re immersed in the popular Disney Pixar film series.

Following Toy Story Land will be the opening of Grizzly Gulch, an abandoned frontier mining town that will be home to the high-speed Grizzly Mountain coaster.

The expansion culminates in 2014 with the opening of Mystic Point, a land that will be exclusive to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
