More Comfort on Turkish Airlines

In addition to its Economy Class, Business Class and First Class options, Turkish Airlines is launching a new, fourth class. The new class will be placed between the Economy Class and Business Class and is has been named Comfort Class.

Turkish Airlines will begin offering the Comfort Class - a premium economy class - on trunk routes to Beijing, Shanghai, Narita, Bangkok, Sao Paulo and Toronto on its the new Boeing 777 aircraft. Depending on delivery time of the new Boeings to join the fleet the Comfort Class will also be offered on the flights to New York, Chicago and Washington D.C..

The Comfort Class seats will provide passengers more comfort and enhanced knee and sitting space. The seat pitch of 116 cm and seat width of 49 cm are the leading features of the Comfort Class.

Having their own individual display screens with 10.6" in-arm screens embedded in each seat, passengers will be able watch as many films, serials, documentaries and cartoons as they wish while they can access the entire visual archives instantly. The new seats also allow passengers to access their files by using their personal USB devices or iPODs.
