Regal Signs New Hotel in Suzhou

Regal Hotels International has signed an agreement with Suzhou Sicheng Real Estate Company to open a four-star business hotel in Suzhou, the Regal Fanhua Centre Hotel.

Situated at Xiang Cheng District, this four-star property will provide a full range of facilities and services to cater for business and leisure travelers.

Located within a commercial development complex, the hotel has a total gross floor area of about 28,980 square meters, featuring 280 guestrooms and suites, restaurants, meeting and conference facilities and a complete range of recreational facilities. Construction work will commence this year and the hotel is scheduled to open in 2013.

 Ms Belinda Yeung, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Regal Hotels Group, said, “The Regal Fanhua Centre Hotel will be another major addition to our China hotel portfolio in Greater China. Suzhou is known worldwide as the “Venice of the Orient” and tourism has become the leading sector of the city’s modern industry. While continuing the momentum in our hotel network expansion, we are confident that our professional team will deliver high quality management standards to the hotel and become a star performer when the hotel opens in 2013.”
