Outrigger Laguna Phuket launches Meetings Promotion

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Tuesday, 28 September 2010

Outrigger Laguna Phuket Resort and Villas in Thailand has launches a meetings promotion that makes the most of the property's 604 square-meter pool villas.

Each villa can accommodate 50 people in theatre style, 30 in classroom format, 24 in u-shape layout, 28 in boardroom format, 80 for a stand-up cocktail, or 50 for a sit-down dinner.

Instead of an artificially-lit room in the corridors of a major hotel, guests at Outrigger Laguna Phuket interact in an area bathed in natural light, complemented by free wireless internet, flat panel LCD TV, MP3 player, a private garden for breaks, and a swimming pool. Full catering options are also available.

Meeting rates start at THB 1,200++ (US$38) per person for a full day. This includes full-day venue hire, set up, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and amenities such as pads, pens and mints. Half day sessions are available at THB 1,000++ (US$32).

"Our setting is both inspirational and informal," said Darren Shaw, General Manager of the resort. "Poolside dining and events in our 25 hectares of gardens and communal areas mean that companies can expect a memorable and productive meeting experience at Outrigger."

Meeting guests staying at Outrigger are a 10-minute transfer away from the Laguna Phuket Quest activity center where a wide variety of specialized team building activities can be arranged.

The Outrigger Laguna Phuket Resort and Villas meeting promotion is subject to a minimum of 10 persons and is dependent upon availability. Other terms and conditions apply.
