Sands China has appointed Mr. Edward M. Tracy
as President and Chief Operating
Officer and Mr. David R. Sisk as Executive Vice President and Chief Casino Officer.
Both appointments are effective 10 August 2010.
The two respected
executives will be reporting directly to Mr. Michael A. Leven,
acting Chief Executive Officer of Sands China Ltd.
Mr. Tracy and
Mr. Sisk will oversee and manage all non-gaming operations and
gaming operations respectively for all Sands China's existing
properties which include Sands Macau, The Venetian Macau and The
Four Seasons Hotel Macau and Plaza Casino, as well as any future developments
in Macau.
Mr. Tracy has over 20 years of hands on management
and development experience in the gaming and hospitality industry.
His extensive experience includes serving as Chairman and CEO of
Capital Gaming, a multi-jurisdictional manager of Native American
and Riverboat Casinos. Mr. Tracy also served as CEO of the Trump
Organization, where he was responsible for managing over 12,500
employees, 3,000 luxury hotel rooms and 240,000 square feet of
casino space, which produced annual revenue in excess of US$1
billion.
Mr. Sisk is a veteran casino financial and operations
executive with over 18 years of experience with major casino
developers including Wynn Resorts and Caesars Palace. Prior to
joining Sands China Mr. Sisk was Executive Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer of Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. Mr. Sisk
joined Wynn Resorts 18 months before the opening of Wynn Las Vegas
and played an instrumental role in establishing the management and
financial structure to operate the US$2.7 billion resort hotel and
casino. Subsequently, Mr. Sisk also had a similar role in the
development and opening of the US$2.3 billion Encore resort hotel
and casino.
