Marina Bay Sands Gears Up for First F1 Grand Prix

Marina Bay Sands is gearing up for its first Singapore Grand Prix night race with Grand Prix Hotel packages, free F1 race screenings at the event plaza, F1 driver appearances, race car simulations and exciting competitions.

Guests checking into the trackside Marina Bay Sands Hotel on 23 and 24 September 2010 will enjoy savings up to Sin$200. All stays will be even more unforgettable as each guest will have full access to the Sands SkyPark, 200 meters above ground, providing an unparalleled view of the race track.

Other perks include free breakfast for two, exclusive deals from participating retailers at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and complimentary airport shuttle for overseas visitors. Other hotel promotions will be available until 28 September.

Reigning F1 World Champion Jensen Button will be at Marina Bay Sands on 22 September. Button, the brand ambassador for Tag Heuer, one of the leading retailers at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, will be the special guest for the store's ribbon cutting ceremony.

 To keep the momentum in high gear, Avalon the iconic Hollywood nightclub, set to open its doors at Marina Bay Sands in January, will host a two-night musical festival starting 23 September. The party, to be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, will feature international headlining acts including Flo Rida and the Chemical Brothers (DJ set).
