Travelport launches Treasure Hunt for Hong Kong Travel Agents

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Tuesday, 27 July 2010

Travelport is offering Hong Kong travel agents the chance to win prizes this summer when they take part in the Travelport Treasure Hunt. The online contest runs until 27 August 2010 with flights and Apple iPad as top prizes.

Contestants need to register online at tptreasurehunt.com then use Google’s Hong Kong Street View maps to locate a “treasure”. Once they have successfully identified the treasure and answered a simple question, they have a chance to win one of the many prizes on offer.

The first 20 contestants that answer the first question correctly will receive an early bird prize of a 6GB memory stick. Other prizes include passes to Ocean Park, cinema tickets and an Apple iPad. There are four levels to the treasure hunt and if contestants answer all four correctly, they qualify for the Grand Lucky Draw and a chance to win flights for two to Tokyo, Seoul or Bali.

“We wanted our Hong Kong travel agency community to have a little bit of fun this summer as well as learn about the latest Travelport products and solutions including Flexi Shopper, Enhanced Customer Service (eCS) and Travelport Universal Desktop,” said Michael Yates, Asia Pacific marketing director, Travelport. “Everything is done online. It’s a simple, fun and interactive way for agents to discover more about Travelport and earn the chance to win some great prizes. Winning agents will be advised individually by email, and a full list of winners will be published on the site and in selected newspapers in early September.”
