Six Senses appoints Deputy Chairman

Bernhard Bohnenberger (BB) is to assume the role of Deputy Chairman of Six Senses Mauritius, effective immediately. In his current and ongoing role of Managing Director of Six Senses, Bernhard Bohnenberger will continue to oversee the Development Department, whist day-to-day development direction will go to Omar Romero, who has been appointed as Managing Director Development.

As Deputy Chairman BB will focus further on structured owner and investor relationships to support Six Senses local and area roles, with strategic planning and overall liaison on behalf of Six Senses.

Bernhard Bohnenberger is the longest serving executive of Six Senses, having joined the origins of the company that has become Six Senses in 1991. He has been responsible for orchestrating much of the expansion of the group into areas such as the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, and conceptionalised the Six Senses Destination Spa brand.

He will continue to be based at Six Senses Bangkok Hub.
