Marriott launches FFP Promotion with LAN Airlines

Marriott International and LAN Airlines are teaming up to offer LANPASS members a 20% discount at Marriott’s portfolio of hotels in Latin America and Miami.

LANPASS is the frequent flyer program of LAN Airlines. The 20% off rate is exclusive to Elite LANPASS members and guests interested in extending their stay over Friday and Saturday at participating JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Renaissance Hotels and Courtyard by Marriott Hotels in the region. In addition, Elite LANPASS members will also receive the discount at Marriott’s select spa facilities throughout the region.

“LAN Airlines is the largest airline service provider in Latin America, and an ideal partner for this special promotion,” said John Licence, vice president of sales and marketing for Marriott International, Inc. if the Americas South region. “As a like minded brand, we created this program especially for Elite LANPASS members to thank them for their business in the region during the holiday season.”

Ralph Piket, general manager of the LANPASS program, added, “We are thrilled to partner with Marriott on this exclusive offer, and we are confident it will be a success with our Elite LANPASS members in key destination markets throughout the region.”

The LANPASS member rates will be offered at participating Marriott International hotels in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico and Miami, Florida. A limited number of rooms are available and blackout dates or other restrictions may apply. The promotional code is LCW. This offer is for new bookings made through 15 December 2010.
