Airport Authority Hong Kong has partnered Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong to give travellers something fun to do while waiting for their flights.

A total of 14 PlayStation3 Game Poles have been installed at various spots around the airport including areas near the boarding gates at Terminal 1 and the Coach Station at Terminal 2.

Travellers can now try out - for free - the latest PS3 games including the highlights of the Asia Game Show x Online Game Show 2009 (AGS x OGS 2009), Final Fantasy XIII, James Camerons Avatar: The Game, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Assassins Creed 2.

HKIA is one of the worlds busiest airports, and research conducted at the airport has shown that departing passengers spend around 4 hours there, with an average of over 3 hours being spent airside.
