Alila Hotels & Resorts is to make its debut in Bangalore in February 2011, with the opening of Alila Bangalore.

Designed by award-winning London-based architects, Allies and Morrison, Alila Bangalore is set in a tranquil oasis in a suburb of the city.

The 101 contemporary Studio Rooms feature private balconies and merge a practical workspace with high-tech amenities. The 12 SOHO Suites provide a separate living area with guest bathroom, ideal for use as an office or meeting room. The 7 Leisure Suites feature over-sized daybeds on the balcony. For a home away from home for families or longer stays, two 506 sqm Alila Residences comprise a living room, kitchen, three bedrooms, library, large balcony and maids quarters.

The Tiffin Bar will offer a choice of all day-brunch, high-tea and signature Martinis. Tiffin Room will serve everything from hearty breakfasts to candlelit dinners while the open-air Tiffin Grill will specialise in grilled surf and turf overlooking the tranquil surrounds of the lake and the village gardens. For after-dinner drinks the stylish High 5 Tapas Bar and Lounge with pool and city views aims to become a hot spot in Bangalores nightlife scene.

Alila Bangalore will also feature a state-of-the art Events Centre with Lakeview Ballroom, two additional meeting rooms and a library, providing a versatile business and entertaining space. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available for all guests throughout the hotel.

For pure relaxation, locally inspired beauty and wellness treatments using the curative properties of fresh, natural ingredients are available at Spa Alila, featuring five treatment rooms, hydrotherapy and aromatherapy baths and a gym.

Opening rates at Alila Bangalore start at 5900 INR/86 for a single or 6400 INR/90 for a double Studio Room per night including breakfast and free Wi-Fi (excluding 12% applicable tax).
