LAN Airlines Appoints New Airport Manager, Sydney

LAN Airlines has appointed Mauricio Hughes to the new role of Sydney Airport Operations and Contract Manager.

Mr. Hughes has been with LAN for five years in roles including Process Management, Passenger Systems, and Airport Management.

In his new role, he will be responsible for all aspects of LANs Sydney Airport operations, including check in and airport dispatch.

LAN, a member of the oneworld global airline alliance, offers six weekly flights from Australia and New Zealand to South America, where the company flies to more than 55 destinations in 10 countries. From November 2010, LAN will fly daily from Sydney.
