Nina Fleischmann-Torosyan joins IFH as GM Asia Pacific

The Institute for Hospitality Management (IFH) has appointed Nina Fleischmann-Torosyan as General Manager, for Pacific & S.E. Asia Region.

Nina was formerly Regional Director Sales and Marketing of the Puravarna Group, a Bangkok-based resort company best known for its flagship property The Royal Phuket Yacht Club. She was invited to join the IFH international team after an extensive career in the hospitality industry which includes Six Senses Resorts and Spas as well as a number of other luxury properties throughout South East Asia for the past five years. Her ties with Asia started early in her career when she was working for a travel company handling operations in Asia. Nina will be based at IFH’s office in Singapore.

Nina is a trained interpreter and combines this with extensive experience in travel and tourism. Fluent in six languages including French, Russian, Italian and Spanish, Nina brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise in sales, marketing and branding in the high-end hospitality segment. In her new role at IFH, she will be responsible for the overall strategic planning and business development of South East Asian and Pacific regions for IFH, including maintaining existing business relations with hotel partners.

A German national of Armenian origin, Nina attended the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences where she majored in Hotel Management. She subsequently attended an International Management program at Mahidol University in Thailand. Her talents, combined with her desire to continuously take on new challenges and expand the scope of her capabilities, have led to career stints in Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
