China Airlines Recruiting Taiwanese Cabin Crew

For the first time in three years, China Airlines is recruiting flight attendants. A total of 92 Taiwanese flight attendants will be hired to join the airline in 2010.

 Web applications will be accepted until 3 May 2010 at 12:00 noon. All applicants must have college degrees and TOEIC scores of 550 or above, or an equivalent credential, while females must be at least 160cm in height, and males 170cm. Applicants must register through the China Airlines website, and after an initial screening, the airline will announce the candidates who qualify for the first interview on its site from 13 May at 12:00 noon to 17 May at 17:00pm. The first interviews will be held 20 - 23 May 2001, while second interviews will be held 4 - 6 June 2010, both at CAL Park.

Qualifications, height, and appearance are the judgment criteria during the first interview, while the second interview will include Chinese and English oral exams including response ability and deportment.

CAL will arrange a physical check-up for the successful candidates, and those who pass the check-up will undergo 13 weeks of training starting in July.

CAL said it is looking for people who have good communication skills and language ability, are adaptable, and most of all have enthusiastic attitudes.
