Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Tuesday, 21 December 2010

IHG’s Crowne Plaza brand today returns to Bangkok following the rebranding of the popular Pan Pacific Hotel.

The 241-room Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park is located on the 21st to 32nd floors of the Ramaland complex in the Silom-Rama IV district.

The property is a short distance from the Siam Paragon shopping mall, Bangkok Convention Centre, Chulalongkorn University and a vast variety of retail, dining and entertainment options in the Silom area.

Next door to the property are two key public transport options – the Sala Daeng sky train and the Silom subway – both providing quick, easy access to the rest of the city.

The hotel’s meeting and conference facilities, lobby and entrance will be renovated shortly to reflect the Crowne Plaza brand.

Guests can enjoy a range of dining and leisure options within the hotel, including five food-and-beverage outlets, extensive banqueting facilities, a resort-style pool and a spa.

“This hotel provides the perfect launch pad for the Crowne Plaza brand in Thailand,” said General Manager, Mark Winterton. “The location and business-oriented services and facilities – promising a great night’s sleep and intuitive business solutions – make it an ideal choice for the corporate traveller and meetings market. The hotel also showcases all the hallmarks of the Crowne Plaza brand.”
