Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Tuesday, 20 July 2010

In the recent distribution of limited traffic rights by Singapore’s Air Traffic Rights Committee (ATRC), Tiger Airways won the right to double its services between Jakarta and Singapore.

Having flown daily and delivering a strong 85% network load factor for the last financial year, Tiger will fly the route twice daily starting from late 2010.

Rosalynn Tay, Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore, said, “We are pleased to be awarded additional rights to the popular Jakarta-Singapore route. We look forward to serving more passengers between the neighbouring Asean cities with our low, low fares. With twice the number of flights and choice of timings, we will be even better armed to lead the low-fare revolution to the benefit of consumers.”
