Palmerston signs Golf Resort & Spa in Sardinia

Palmerston Hotels & Resorts has signed a management contract for its first project in Sardinia, Italy.

 The Palmerston Santa Teresa Golf Resort & Spa, neighbouring the Emerald Coast and close to the beautiful Maddalena islands, is a 45 minutes drive from Olbia international airport or a 6 minutes helicopter ride to the resorts private helipad.

Set among 220 hectares of magnificent unspoilt lush landscape, this deluxe secluded resort comprises a five star boutique hotel, an exclusive 18 hole golf course, a deluxe spa, leisure facilities and luxury villas and residences.

 Palmerstons Chairman Mr Dieter Klostermann, said, The ambiance of the resort will authentically reflect the local architecture which will be sympathetic to the typography of the landscape and genuinely reflect the Sardinian lifestyle where outdoor living is as important as the indoors.

The planning phase has been completed and outline construction permits obtained. The first construction phase, including the hotel, golf course and villas is due to begin in late 2010. The resort is due for completion in 2013.

Palmerston is also currently in advanced negotiations for suitable sites in London, Hamburg, Geneva, Moscow and Seoul.
