Coetzer Deysel appointed General Manager of W Retreat - Koh Samui

Coetzer Deysel has been appointed as general manager of the W Retreat - Koh Samui. The first W Retreat in Southeast Asia, W Retreat - Koh Samui is scheduled to open this summer.

Deysel has more than a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently serving as hotel manager of W Retreat & Spa - Maldives. Deysel’s prior positions include management roles at Madikwe River Lodge in South Africa; Shibula Lodge & Bush Spa in South Africa; Exeter Game Lodges in South Africa, and Chapungu Tented Camp in South Africa. A passionate advocate of conservation and wildlife, Deysel is an active member of the Field Guides Association of Southern Africa (FGASA), which provides educational opportunities to promote the conservation and rehabilitation of the cultural and natural heritage of Southern Africa.
