Travelport Appoints Dedicated Airline Service Directors

Travelport has appointed Ailsa Brown as Director, Airline Services, Australia and New Zealand and Chan Tze Yuan as Director, Airline Services for South East Asia. Both appointments are effective immediately, with Brown being based in Sydney and Chan in Singapore.

Formerly Travelport’s Director of Sales for Australia, Brown will now oversee the strategic management of Travelport’s airline relationships within Australia and New Zealand. She will report to Shelley Beasley, Managing Director, Pacific and Head of Solutions and Support APAC, Travelport. With the commercial roll out of Travelport’s Universal Desktop solution during this year, Brown’s role will include capturing merchandising opportunities and maximising ancillary revenue for airline partners. Brown joined Travelport in 2004 and has more than 20 years of travel industry experience across two continents, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Chan Tze Yuan joined Travelport in June 2010 from Singapore’s Sentosa Leisure Group, where he was Director of Business Development, responsible for strategic partnerships and product development. During his 12 years in travel and tourism, he has also been Director, South Asia for Abacus International and Country Manager (China, Indonesia, India and Singapore) for SilkAir. At Travelport, he is responsible for developing and managing airline relationships in the South East Asia region, including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and Brunei. Chan reports to Chua Hui Wan, Regional Director for South East Asia, Travelport.
