Hayley Walls joins Life Resorts as Director of Sales and Marketing

 Life Resorts in Vietnam has appointed South African, Hayley Walls, as its new director of sales and marketing.

 The Cape Town-native gained much of her lengthy hospitality experience in her hometown. Most recently, she worked as a sales and marketing consultant to the five-star Taj hotel. Previously, she was regional sales and operations manager for a portfolio of independent hotels around South Africa.

Walls career to-date includes stints with two InterContinental Hotel properties in South Africa. In addition, she ran her own business in Cape Town, providing outsourced sales and marketing to the travel and hospitality industries.

Life Resorts owns and operates two resorts in Vietnam and manages two others. On Vietnams central coast, the 94-room Life Heritage Resort Hoi An evokes the colonial splendour of a bygone era on a quiet stretch of the Thu Bon River within walking distance of the trading ports world-famous downtown. On the south-central coast, the 63-room Life Wellness Resort Quy Nhon is dedicated to the tenets of wellness, from yoga, tai chi and Pilates to an ample range of spa treatments and anti-stress and detox programs.

Four hours from Ho Ch Minh City, Life manages the 84-room Blue Ocean Resort, featuring a 153-meter private beach, a 26-meter swimming pool and lush tropical grounds. Lifes newest property, Life Resort Danang, celebrated the grand opening of its 158 rooms on one of Vietnam's hottest beaches in April 2010.

The Dutch resort company is also developing a property on Halong Bay, scheduled to open later in 2010.
