China Southern Takes Delivery of Two New Boeing 777-200Fs

China Southern Airlines has taken delivery of two new Boeing 777-200 freighters.

With these two new aircraft, China Southern Cargo has expanded its cargo fleet to six freighters, including two Boeing 747-400F and four Boeing 777-200F aircraft. China Southern anticipates one additional Boeing 777F freighter to be delivered at the end of August 2010.

With the arrival of these new freighters, China Southern Cargo is launching the following three new cargo routes:

• Shanghai-Vienna-Amsterdam - three flights per week;
• Guangzhou-Amsterdam - four flights per week, and
• Shanghai-Los Angeles - three flights per week.

After inspection and certification by the CAAC, the two new Boeing 777 freighters will be placed into commercial service with first flights expected on 23 and 24 July 2010.
