Berjaya Airways joins Discovery Airpass

Bangkok Airways (PG) in corporation with Lao Airline (QV) has added Berjaya Airways (J8) as an alliance partner in the ‘Discovery Airpass’ promotion offering a more extensive network in the region with fares starting from US$ 65 for domestic routes and US$ 120 for international routes.

The fare per coupon on designated domestic routes of the alliance carriers is US$ 65 except Bangkok – Samui vv., Chiang Mai – Samui vv.,Vientiane – Pakse vv. , Luang Prabang – Pakse vv. is US$ 90 . For the international routes, the fare per coupon is US$ 120 for an adult passenger except Pakse – Siem Reap, Pakse – Phnom Penh and Luang Prabang – Utapao is US$ 60. However, the fare for flight routing Bangkok – Maldives vv., is US$ 200.

The Discovery Airpass was first launched in 2002. Lao Airline joined adding interesting routes such as Vientiane, Luang Prabang and Pakse, and now Berjaya Airways will cover flights to Kuala Lumpur.

Illustrating each flight per one coupon, the deal is governed with a minimum purchase of three coupons and the maximum of six coupons. Any issued Discovery Airpass is valid within a period of two months and all sector can be patterned as an open jaw, however, repeating on any particular sector is not allowed.

The Airpass is being sold worldwide by any IATA (International Air Transport Association) travel agents.
