The 7th Vertical Marathon at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, in association with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and in collaboration with the Red Crescent Society, will take place on Friday, 28 May 2010, with the aim of attracting a record breaking 200 runners.

This, the biggest Vertical Marathon to date, will also be part of Jumeirah Emirates Towers’ tenth anniversary festivities.

Funds raised will support independent humanitarian medical organization MSF to provide medical aid where it is most needed. Last year the Vertical Marathon raised over AED 160,000 for MSF when 185 eager runners supported this charitable event.

The race will kick off at 08:00 with runners having to ascend the 350 metres tall Office Tower of Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

To take part participants will have to register with MSF along with a minimum pledge of AED 500 per person.
