One&Only The Palm, Dubai’s welcomed its first guests from Europe and the Middle East on 15 November 2010, after completing a successful soft opening in October 2010.

“On behalf of the entire team, we are delighted to welcome our first guests to One&Only The Palm,” said Olivier P. Louis, Managing Director, One&Only Resorts, Dubai. “I am extremely proud that we were able to keep our promise to our guests and patrons and open in time for the new season.”

Nestled on a secluded peninsula on The Palm, One&Only The Palm is comprised of 90 keys and 4 private beachfront villas. The resort acts as a private enclave for guests to enjoy spectacular views of the city skyline.

The property’s stylish guest rooms and suites are housed within a tri-level manor house with six low-rise mansions, all set in lush landscaped gardens along 450 meters of private beach.

Under the culinary guidance of Michelin-star chef Yannick Alléno, One&Only The Palm’s restaurants, ZEST, STAY by Yannick Alléno and 101 on the marina (opening on 1 December), indulge guests with an array of creative local and international cuisine.

“Middle Eastern cuisine is a crossroad of spices, smells, colors and tastes. I had to really immerse myself in the products and local flavors before being able to produce a contemporary cuisine that suits this specific clientele,” said Alléno about his newly opened STAY and ZEST. “It was definitely a challenge to adapt my skills, but the beautiful environment of One&Only The Palm brought me pure pleasure, delight and inspiration.”

The all-suite One&Only Private Spa invites guests to unwind in nine individual Spa Suites with private outdoor patios. The comprehensive treatment menu includes a collection of unique signature treatments and three or five day wellness journeys intended to restore natural equilibrium and fitness levels.

The One&Only the Palm is also one of the first hotels in Dubai to introduce air conditioned poolside cabana suites along the 850m2 temperature controlled swimming pool, with indoor and outdoor lounge areas, LCD screens and en-suite bathrooms and showers.

Spa facilities are complemented by a state-of-the-art Fitness Centre, boasting an 18-meter, outdoor lap pool and a dedicated Beauty Salon featuring a pedicure and manicure studio by established Podiatrist Bastien Gonzalez and Hair Salon under the guidance of hair stylist Alexandre Zouari.
