The French private airline Aigle Azur has taken delivery of its first directly purchased brand new Airbus A319. The new aircraft, powered by CFM-56 engines, joins Aigle Azur's fleet of ten A320 Family aircraft, comprising three A319s, three A320s and four A321s.

The new A319 has been fitted with a spacious two class cabin layout for 144 passengers.

"With an all A320 Family fleet we benefit from savings in every element of direct operating costs and from the highest degree of operational commonality."
