The ExecuJet Aviation Group and Tianjin Haite have signed a Joint Venture agreement to launch a full service business aircraft maintenance and management company in China.

ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China Co. Ltd will be based at Tianjin Binhai Airport and will offer aircraft management and maintenance services, to be expanded in due course to include a Fixed Base Operation (FBO).

The establishment of this JV aims to build a comprehensive platform to provide high standard business aviation services to Chinese and international customers, similar to that provided by ExecuJet in many other parts of the world.

The MRO facility which is due for completion in August 2011 will encompass a 6,000m² facility capable of housing two large and three smaller aircraft simultaneously.

ExecuJet will obtain a Chinese Part 135 Aircraft Operating Certificate (AOC) and a Part 145 maintenance certificate and expects to initially maintain in excess of 40 business aircraft annually.

The company will initially employ approximately 50 personnel to operate the facility.

“The joint venture is not only a result of the superior location and first class investment environment of Tianjin Airport, but also the integrity, professionalism and international insight exhibited by the Tianjin government and our partners” stated Graeme Duckworth, Managing Director ExecuJet Asia. “We believe that the local knowledge provided by Tianjin Haite and the International business aviation expertise of ExecuJet provides for an excellent partnership in this region”

ExecuJet currently operates a sales office in Beijing which will continue under the management of General Manager Yu Yubin.

With Tianjin Airports location just 120km from Beijing and 30 minutes on high speed train, the location perfectly links the two operations in China.
