Thomasz Klisz and Jo Phillimore Win Vertical Marathon in Dubai

160 runners took Jumeirah Emirates Towers by storm last Friday in the 7th annual Vertical Marathon.

The marathon, which forms part of Jumeirah Emirates Towers’ tenth birthday celebrations, saw participants raising a total of AED 115 000 for Médecins Sans Frontières.

 The popular charity event was organised by The Big Apple gym in the Boulevard at Jumeirah Emirates Towers with the support of the Red Crescent Society.

Polish national Thomasz Klisz ascended the 350 metre Office Tower of Jumeirah Emirates Towers with a winning time of 8.29 minutes. The leading lady was Jo Phillimore with a time of 12.22 minutes and the leading team, Dubai Holding made it in 15.42 minutes.
