China Airlines launches Taipei Songshan - Shanghai Hongqiao Direct Flights

China Airlines has launched new direct cross-strait scheduled services from Taipei Songshan Airport to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport.

CAL will operate the route with six round-trip flights each week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Flight CI-201 departs Songshan at 8:45 am, arriving in Hongqiao at 10:30 am. The return CI-202 flight departs Hongqiao at 11:40 am, arriving back in Songshan at 1:30 pm.

 In the initial stage, China Airlines will operate the service with Boeing 737-800 aircraft providing 158 seats in economy and business classes. An Airbus A330-300 plane will be used when Songshan airport completed its reconstruction.

The China Airlines Group, including China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines, flies to 13 destinations in mainland China including Shenyang, Beijing, Zhengzhou, Changsha, Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xian and Chengdu.
