Suntec Promotes Christine Cheong and Stella Wong

Suntec Singapore has promoted Ms Christine Cheong and Ms Stella Wong to the position of Assistant Directors.

Ms. Christine Cheong has more than 15 years of experience in media sales. She joined Suntec Singapore as Senior Manager of Event Branding and Media Advertising in 2006. In her current position, Ms Cheong is responsible for all the sales activities related to the advertising for media spaces at Asia’s leading convention and exhibition centre – this also includes both the indoor and outdoor electronic boards as well as static advertising spaces to reach out to various target audiences.

Ms Cheong is also accountable for creating exciting media solutions for marketers who are looking for new frontiers in advertising opportunities. She has been influential in growing the Suntec brand and the media sales revenue exponentially. She has also developed the products to a recognizable element – making it one of the most sellable media spaces in Singapore.

Ms Stella Wong joined Suntec Singapore as Senior Manager of Corporate and Catering Sales in 2007. Ms Wong’s career in the hospitality industry includes experiences at several notable properties such as Shangri-La, Ritz Carlton and the Pan Pacific. In her tenure with Suntec Singapore, Ms Wong has been instrumental in the tremendous growth for both the corporate and catering portfolios - including corporate meetings, weddings, dinner and dances and all banqueting functions.

Ms Wong has also played a pivotal role in the securing of major international corporate events. Suntec Singapore has had large corporate events such as Microsoft Singapore and SAP Asia Pte Ltd. Most recently, Ms Wong anchored the Suntec Singapore’s catering team towards a successful external catering effort during the Singapore Airshow 2010.
