Enzo Visone has been appointed as Executive Chairman of the Board of Silversea Cruises. Manfredi Lefebvre remains on the Board as Deputy Chairman.

"We are pleased to welcome Enzo to this position," said Lefebvre. "Enzo has had an illustrious career as an international manager and CEO in high-end consumer goods in both private and publicly listed companies. He has lived and worked in eight different countries bringing a cultural know-how that is essential in developing international businesses. I have known him for many years and am convinced he will add enormous value to Silversea Cruises. Visone will work closely with Amerigo Perasso, Silversea's President and CEO, and the entire management team in which I confirm my complete confidence to further strengthen the company's leadership position in the luxury cruise sector."

Lefebvre added, "While I will continue to contribute my consolidated experience in the industry, I will now have more time to dedicate to other business interests and philanthropic projects for which I will also avail myself of Enzo Visone's support, without distancing myself from the core business that is Silversea Cruises."

Visone has dual nationality (British/Italian) and was educated in London where he graduated in economics. He brings to the company decades of hands-on management experience acquired in international companies in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. Most recently he served as Chief Executive Officer in an asset management company based in Milan. Prior to that he was CEO of the Campari Group, a major player in the global branded beverage industry, and where he led a phenomenally successful campaign to grow the Group internationally.
