Khalid Anib appointed General Manager of Al Areen Palace and Spa in Bahrain

Mr. Khalid Anib has been appointed as the General Manager of the Al Areen Palace and Spa.

 The luxury resort in Bahrain was previously called the Banyan Tree Al Areen but the management contract was recently terminated with immediate effect.

Mr. Tariq Al Jowder, CEO of Al Areen Holding Company, said that the company has been approached by various internationally recognized luxury hotels and spa operators, and with a deal in the final negotiation stages, expects to confirm the new operators name  "very soon".

In a statement issued on Tuesday, AAHC assured guests "that the resort will continue to operate without any interruption and will endeavor to offer its guests the five star services expected of a resort of this high standard".

Mr. Al Jowder also confirmed that "AAHC reserves its rights to take all legal action available to it against the breaches and abuses made by Banyan Tree Hotel and Resort Holding - Singapore".
