As the MICE industry takes its first steps towards recovery with a positive pick up during the last few months of last year, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts is reacting to meeting planners’ concerns about budgets by creating a US$ 1 meeting package.

Meeting planners who book ten rooms or more at either corporate rates or qualifying Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts best available Internet rates can avail of a full meeting package comprising lunch, coffee breaks and standard equipment for just US$1. This package is valid until 30 September 2010 at any of the Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts across Asia.

“We are fully aware that organisations are extremely protective of their budgets right now, which is why we came up with this meetings offer,” said Christina Bartz vice president sales and marketing Asia. “By offering value driven event and meeting packages we are confident that we can attract news business and retain existing clients.”

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts is represented through over 90 hotels existing or under construction in 26 countries with a concentration in its core markets of Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
