The Dubai-based Jumeirah Group has opened a brand new Royal Suite at the luxury Knightsbridge hotel - Jumeirah Carlton Tower.

The 155m² suite has views over Knightsbridge, Westminster and Cadogan Gardens and features private access and a private butler.

Khuan Chew, the interior designer responsible for the group’s flagship hotel, the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, has incorporated rich textures and opulent finishings, including a fibreoptic ‘star-light’ ceiling, a Swarovski crystal feature piece and silk pile carpets.

The Royal Suite showcases innovations from around the world including a Japanese designed high-tech TOTO toilet, a COCO-MAT mattress filled with coconut fibres, fossil marble and granite floors and French and Italian designed furniture.

The bathroom – the suite’s pièce de résistance – features a Wet Room with deep Jacuzzi bath, walk-in rain shower and flooring inlaid with jasper and marble.

The expansive lounge and dining area features a fully equipped galley kitchen, freestanding bar, a full length hand-carved walnut dining table that seats ten, and state-of-the-art Bang & Olufsen audio visual technology.

Royal Suite guests also have exclusive access to Cadogan Gardens, the hotel’s Peak Health Club & Spa and the GILT Champagne Lounge.
