Silversea Cruises has just sweetened the deal for single travelers by reducing the single supplement to a mere 10% (above the per-person, double-occupancy fare) for Vista, Veranda and Midship Veranda Suites on 4 voyages this year. Plus, 9 new sailings will have a single supplement of 25%.

Recognizing that a growing number of men and women are traveling alone today, either by choice or necessity, the luxury cruise line is rolling out new Solo Traveler fares that make independent travel a more affordable option.

"These special rates make it easier for our single guests to make vacation plans without having to worry about finding a travel companion to keep the costs down," said Mr. Steve Odell, Silverseaís Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific. "And what makes our new solo fares most attractive is Silversea's unrivaled all-inclusive value combined with other great incentives such as savings of up to 60% off published fares and free roundtrip air packages that include transfers."

Silversea also offers Social Ambassadors on board, a real plus for single guests looking for a dining companion or a dance partner.

All-inclusive fares include a spacious, ocean-view suite (most suites feature a private veranda), butler service, complimentary wines and spirits, fine dining, enrichment and entertainment programs, and all onboard gratuities.
